Jana Pronská is among the most successful Slovak authors of historical romances. He loves romantic stories and draws his inspiration mainly from the Middle Ages. Jana Pronská's court publisher is Slovenský spisovatel. As the author of historical romances, she devotes herself most intensively to history, searching for old legends and information about long-forgotten ruins.

Among the most famous are historical romances: Bosorka's déra (2008, 2015), the book series The Curse, The Blood Coat of Arms (2014), Knight's Honor (2014), Cursed Love (2012), Verenica (2015), Black Widow (2015), and many others . The latest title from the workshop of Janka Pronská is Rytierov žlav, published in November 2022.
