Prešov as European City of Sport 2025 is preparing for the armwrestling event of the year! The Prešov Armwrestling Cup is coming to the city. The event will take place under the auspices of the mayor of Prešov on October 11, 2025 at OC Eperia and will also be the 1st round of the SNLP - Slovak National Armwrestling League.
What will make the event exceptional?
Opening of the Slovak National League (SNLP) - the start of the season at the highest sports level.
International participation - Slovak representatives as well as foreign athletes will come to Prešov.
Attractive OPEN category for men and women with prize money of up to 1000eur.
Historical moment - for the first time in Slovakia, a traveling belt is awarded to the absolute winner, similar to in boxing or MMA. The winner will become its holder until the next round of the SNLP, if the OPEN category with prize money is announced. He will be obliged to come and defend or hand it over for the next competition!
